Our Story

TooDark Films Ltd is a UK-based film production company developing and producing original narrative films, documentaries and immersive screen experiences.

The company focuses on grounded, character-driven storytelling that explores identity, memory, belonging and the human experience. Alongside original film projects, TooDark Films undertakes commissioned work across film, digital and immersive media.

TooDark Films works in collaboration with community partners to ensure ethical engagement, safeguarding and authentic representation within socially focused projects.

My Journey

TooDark Productions was born from a belief that stories don’t need exaggeration — they need truth. The journey into filmmaking grew from observing real life and recognising the power of visual storytelling to carry emotion beyond words. Today, TooDark Productions creates grounded, character-driven work that brings lived experience to the screen with clarity and intention.
